Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but it will cost extra to ship outside the United States.
I ordered from outside the United States and got charged extra!?!?
Shipping to other countries can come with extra duties and taxes. Policies vary from country to country; take it up with the customs agency.
When will my order ship?
Monday - Friday. Standard shipping will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days if ordered by 12PM PST. Priority shipping will ship the same day if ordered by 12PM PST.
I need to change my address on my order!
We can change the address as long as the order has not been shipped from our warehouse. Send us an email at help@hektikoptics.com, or the form on the 'Contact Us' page, with your order #, name, and the name and/or address you want it to be changed to, and we will confirm the change.
How do I track my order?
You will be sent a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email. Be aware that the tracking will not be live until received and scanned by the shipping company, which may take a few hours.
My tracking number doesn't work!
Give it a day and come back, the shipping company needs time to receive, scan, and process it. If the issue persists, shoot us an email at help@hektikoptics.com, or use the form on the 'Contact Us' page, and we'll get back to you.
My order says delivered, but I never received it!
Don't worry, there are a few things that could have happened:
- This order got mis-scanned and will typically show up a day or two later.
- The carrier might have left it at the front desk of your building, a side door, or with your neighbors if the delivery person is stupid and can't read an address correctly.
- If there is still neither hide nor hair of your order, please email help@hektikoptics.com, or use the form on the 'Contact Us' page, and we will do our best to help and figure out what happened to it!
Returns & Exchanges
How do I cancel an order?
Shoot us an email at help@hektikoptics.com or use the form on the 'Contact Us' page, and we'll help you cancel it ASAP. Cancelling an order can only be done before it is shipped. Otherwise, you can initiate a return when it arrives and get a full refund. Please refer to "How do I return or exchange an order".
How do I return or exchange an order?
Sorry you didn’t like em'. You can easily return your purchase within the first 10 days of delivery or exchange them within the first 30 days from delivery. Glasses must be in their original packaging and in like new condition, and anything that came with your order must be sent back unused.
How do I return an order?
If you wish to return an item for a refund, go to the orders tab in your account within 30 days of delivery of the item, select the order you wish to return, and select “start a return or exchange”. Select “Return”. You will be prompted to give a reason for the return (on the site), then you will be emailed a printable return label when we see your return, and your refund will be issued as soon as we receive the item. We will only accept returns if the product is in like new condition, in the original packaging, and with no accessories removed!
How do I exchange an order?
If you wish to exchange your item for another, go to the orders tab in your account within 30 days of delivery of the item, select the order you wish to return, and select “start a return or exchange”. Select “exchange”. You will be prompted to send us an email with the reason for exchange, we will work with you to get you a refund or another product of equal or lesser value to the one you are exchanging. We will only accept exchanges if the product is in like new condition, in the original packaging, and with no accessories removed!
I got the wrong product!

They're defective!
HUGE YIKES on our part, we check every sunglass to make sure they're in pristine condition and function perfectly before we send them to you, so this is a BIG DEAL!
Email us at help@hektikoptics.com, send us a photo of the defect, and we'll get you a replacement right away, with a way for you to send them back so we can learn from our mistake!
Care and lifestyle
Do I need to pay extra for polarized lenses?
Not at HEKTIK. Polarized lenses come standard on all models. Other brands like Knockaround charge $10-15 extra for polarization, and we thought that was stupid.
Are Hektik Optics Affordable?
Yes! Our sunglasses are priced so that everyone can afford them while not skimping on the features.
I scratched my lenses/broke my glasses!

How should I clean my sunglasses?
To clean your sunglasses, first, be sure there are no large solids like dirt or sand on the glasses. Next, use a little mild dish soap and warm water to clean the lenses gently, and use a soft, clean cloth to dry them off. DO NOT USE GLASS CLEANER, IT CAN DEGRADE LENS COATINGS. DO NOT USE PAPER PRODUCTS TO CLEAN OR DRY YOUR GLASSES. Also, we know life is HEKTIK and you may be desperate to clean them, but don't use spit…or the dog's tongue…or your tongue, for that matter.
